RAÚL MORENO

Born in "La Mancha", Spain.

He studied professional photography and later specialized in photojournalism at Photoescuela, formerly part of the Cover agency. After several years working as a photojournalist for various media outlets, he decided to take a new direction in both his professional and personal life.

His interests center on photography as a means to explore sociocultural, developmental, and environmental issues—an approach that eventually led him to pursue studies in Anthropology. In 2018, he moved to Rome, a city that immediately captivated him and where he continues to live and work.

Today, he works as an independent photographer, focusing primarily on medium- and long-term documentary projects. This methodology allows him to approach the communities and stories he documents with depth, sincerity, and empathy. Over the years, this commitment has led him into environments and realities that many people rarely encounter—or often choose not to see.

Alongside his photographic practice, he also manages a small travel agency specializing in Nordic destinations, where he occasionally works as a guide. This ongoing connection to the Arctic region has strengthened his field experience and has naturally evolved into leading photographic journeys, combining documentary insight with on-site exploration.
